Chris earl

As a PROUD Algonquin native from the Greater Golden Lake region, Chris is deeply rooted in his culture and traditions. 

Corus Entertainment Rising Star winner and current serving member of our Canadian Armed Forces, Chris has been sharing the stage with some of the world’s greatest performers like Keith Urban and Johnny Reid for over 20 years. He has been critically  acclaimed to have a voice likened to Travis Tritt and Darius Rucker.

Through Chris' passion for music and his culture, he is able to share his stories and songs to inspire all who listen.

As a Singer/Songwriter, his newest venture brings light to the struggles of mental health and addiction issues within his fellow indigenous and military communities.

Recent writing has lead him to create a profound stage show, merging his aboriginal heritage and military life into his performance, entitled “The Singing Soldier”.

 

Chris has just accepted the honourable delegation as Wounded Warrior’s National Ambassador, and has partnered with Frontline Forward, a foundation to assist military and emergency personnel, who fall victim to the grips of PTSD and  mental health issues.

 

Three time Ontario music award winner, he has been recognized for his infectious  vocals and song writing abilities by taking home the awards for Single of the year, Songwriter of the year and Album of the year. Receiving significant radio play in  European countries and in the United Kingdom. Was in the top ten with 4 songs world wide for several years from 1994-1997.

 

Chris is planning the release of his third full length album spring of 2019 complete with a bonus bilingual track to inspire those who suffer in silence with mental health or PTSD issues entitled “Gotta Be Strong”.
